South Yorkshire-born singer-songwriter Sam Scherdel is emerging as one of the UK’s most compelling new voices, blending heartland rock, indie and folk influences into raw, emotionally charged songwriting. Drawing inspiration from Bruce Springsteen, Paolo Nutini, Hozier and Sam Fender, his music combines soaring melodies, poetic lyricism and anthemic energy with a voice that feels both timeless and distinctly his own.

Built through relentless touring, grassroots momentum and a fiercely independent approach, Sam has performed at SXSW, Glastonbury and The Great Escape, earning a reputation for powerful live performances and honest storytelling. His breakout single Somewhere in the Middle gained widespread attention following a Love Island sync placement, helping drive millions of streams and introducing his music to an international audience.
